Five things you can do today to get more traffic to your website 1. Email Signature Make sure you have an email signature and add it to every email you send. I am not going to tell you how to add a signature to your email because there are too many different email clients with different methods. Google is your friend. Ask Google how to create an email signature in your email client, the answer will be revealed as to how to. What to put in your signature however I will tell you. Websites that get results 2. Advertising Many businesses that advertise in newspapers, on flyers and other places are failing to publish their website details on the adverts. Add your email address as well. Just this addition can add a few visitors every week. Make sure that every advert and marketing piece has that URL on it. 3. Signage
Publish your URL on your company vehicles, Is your Delivery vehicle driving around without the web address being prominently displayed? Is the URL on the sign outside your business? It'll cost you a few bucks to have a few vinyl stickers made. Get them done today. 4. Business cards and stationery
Every page of stationery that leaves your office must have your web address on? Compliment slips, Thank you notes and invoices should have the URL printed on them. 5. Get your suppliers to link to your site
Are you listed as a distributor with a link to your website on your suppliers websites? If not ask them to add the link today. Traffic is OK - but it is targetted traffic that is important.
Who is the target?
The person who wants to buy what you are selling at the time he sees your url!

Think about the suggestions I made, who is most likely to receive the link? Of course targeted traffic is what the goal is, How much more targeted than your own clientele and networks. How much more targeted than your delivery vehicle in your town?
